Let's write limericks! If you don't know, they're short and senseless poems, with rhymes system: aabba. For example:

There's a young girl called Rose,
who has got a very long nose.
She can't see her feet
When she walks down the street
And she often have very cold toes.

Yeah, tea party! I've heard that when you use 10 tea bags to make a cup of tea and you drink it, it will have the same effect as an alcohol.

Hmm one of ingredients of tea (polish "teina") is really similar to coffin, though.
I think that instead of working like alcohol it would rather work like some really stronk coffee with some energy drink... but... I'm not sure at all xD

Wow, how could I overlook this topic? The idea is fine but I don't think there's anyone on board, who could properly fix our english... Speaking of that, is there anybody with european (or british) certificate in english? If yes, she/he should be a special mod in here, and every new eng topic.

Also imho a typically TLK eng topic would be our chance to conquer whole internet. I talk about smth at the main site, not a subtopic at "small talks".

At the end... If anybody didn't noticed yet, there's a gigantic dictionary filled with all slang pharses, you could possibly imagine, just right here: http://www.urbandictionary.com/
But, it's only for those who are know smth more than "hello, bye, f**k..." and stuff.

Helbi, I have no idea how could you overlook this topic. Shame on you Deer! I guess none of us have any certificates in english( imho I'm way to stupid and poor to get one ), but I think some of us can catch and correct basic mistakes. I hope I am right in that matter.

Yeah, you're probably right. With main TLK english topic we could invite here people all around the world.

Awww I know this dictionary! Besides that I use dict.pl or ling.pl . They're good either.
